The Ultra-Responsive direct blow action, with selected hardwood hammer shanks and 100% wool felt hammer heads, gives the K-15 an exceptional touch and feel. To address problems with conventional wooden counterparts, Kawai The K-15 uses aluminum action rails, aluminum hammer, and ABS action parts. These changes give the K-15 rigidness and consistency from high-stress playing, and temperature/humidity changes.
The four fully laminated back posts add to the piano’s structural integrity and tuning stability.
